BRECKENRIDGE, CO - December 29, 2009 - January 3, 2010
Welcome in the New Year with your RVSA Ski Club friends as we travel to Brecken-ridge, an historic mining town in Summit County. The trip includes interchangeable lift tickets to Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin with transportation included. You also can choose to spend time at Vail or Beaver Creek (transportation not included to these sites). Breckenridge is a good place to spend the holidays with its many cafes and boutiques, and the Breckenridge Ski Area includes 155 trails for all levels of skiers. Housing at Wedgewood, a short walk from a lift, will be in six two-bedroom, two-bath condos, one of which includes a loft. Newly opened Superchair is the highest lift in North America, reaching a peak elevation of 12,840. We'll leave Tuesday afternoon, December 29, and return Sunday evening, January 3. Round trip ground transportation to O'Hare is included. Total price is $1,320 with four payments of $330 due on July 14, August 11, September 8, October 13.

STEAMBOAT, CO - January 23 - 30,2010
Steamboat is a perennial favorite of skiers with its 165 trails over 2,965 acres. The quaint village includes cafes and shops and you can also relax in the famous Steamboat Springs located near the ski area. Sleigh rides, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing are available for those who wish to take time from downhill skiing. The town of Steamboat Springs has a number of interesting restaurants, boutiques, and two Hot Springs which are open to the public, located just a short ride away from the mountain. We will be bused from Haden, Colorado to the Ranch at Steamboat where we will stay in five three-bedroom, three-bath condos. We leave Saturday morning, January 23, and return Saturday late afternoon, January 30. Total price is $999 with three payments of $333 due on July 14, August 11 and September 8.

CRESTED BUTTE, CO - February 27 - March 6, 2010
We will visit rugged Crested Butte just as the winter doldrums set in at home. Crested Butte, called "the last great Colorado Ski Town," recently expanded with 121 trails with the longest run 2.6 miles. Our bus takes up to the Chateaux, which is 500 yards or five-minute free bus shuttle from the bottom of a lift, where we will spend six nights in four three-bedroom, three-bath condos for six people each and one two-bedroom, two-bath condo for four people. Crested Butte offer some of the most varied and pristine ski area terrain around. The lift lines are short or non-existent. We leave on Saturday morning, February 27, and return late Saturday, March 6. Total price is $1020 with four payments of $255, each due on July 14, August 11, September 8 and October 13.

INDIAN HEAD, MICHIGAN - February 12 -14, 2010
One of our favorite trips is to Indian Head in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We leave Friday, February 12 and spend Friday and Saturday evening in a ski lodge. The trip includes breakfast on Saturday and Sunday morning and a gala Saturday night dinner which features music and dancing, perfect for celebrating Valentine's Day. Current price is $320 with three payments of $80 due on July 14, August 11 and September 8. The final payment will be determined in October and will not exceed $80. We return on Sunday afternoon, February 14. Price of this trip may be lower than $320 if we get more participants.

Bus transportation for all trips is included in the trip price. Buses leave from Farm and Fleet located on Riverside Road. There is plenty of room for parking in a safe, lit area.

Trip payments may be made at the July, August, September and October meetings of the Ski Club which are held at Thunder Bay Restaurant.
